Best Memory: Meleny's best memory was meeting her muggleborn friends the McKennas when she first came to Hogwarts. It made her feel less alone whenever her family made her feel guilty about not acting like a pureblood and her muggle behavior.

Boggart: Meleny's main fear is her father and twin sister who enjoy making her life miserable. They both want to see her dead because she chose the opposite side. Also, Meleny fears with enough persuasian she will end up betraying everyone she cares about and turn to the dark side.
Dementor: Meleny's worst memory is the summer before her fifth year at school when her father and sister beat her for not acting like a pureblood and used the cruciatus curse on her.

Personality: Meleny is a very sweet and helpful person. She doesn't have a mean bone in her body and is always willing to help people if they ask for it. She's quite pleasant to be around once you get to know her. Meleny is an even tempered person but even she has bad moods sometimes. She rarely raises her voice at people and would rather calmly and logically solve a problem than rush right into a duel. Otherwise she is very calm and her usual friendly self. She can also be a bit overprotective. Another thing about Meleny is that she is fiercely loyal. Once she picks a side in something she stays loyal to that side forever. Betrayal and back stabbing is one thing she can't stand.
Meleny is emotional and sometimes isn't afraid to show she's scared, or in pain but when met with an enemy she'll try to decieve them and cover up her weaknesses which includes trying to hide the scar underneath her right eye which is the only one visible. The others are on her body elsewhere and can only be seen when she's either getting dressed or undressing. Usually she's in control of her emotions and knows when and when not to show them but when she's scared or under stress the chain binding her emotions snaps and she becomes a total wreck.
Meleny is considerate and helpful. She has always been thought of as a mother figure to the younger students. She protects them from danger. She's also intelligent. As an older Hogwarts student, she'd help the younger students with their homework in subjects they were having trouble in. She may not be brave but she's overprotective and a bit of a martyr. She values everyone else's lives over her own. She would risk her life if it came down to it. When lives are at stake she doesn't care about getting in trouble but when it isn't absolutely necessary she avoids getting in trouble as much as possible.
Being a twin to the most evil girl she's ever known has made her determined to assert her own independence and break away from her second identity as "Jezebel's twin sister". She hates when people automatically assume that they should stick together just because they're twins. She especially hates it when people compare them.

History: When Christina Kensington found out she was pregnant the doctor told her she was carrying twins. Along with Meleny inside the womb was another baby that would grow up to be the second person to make Meleny's life miserable. This was her twin sister Jezebel and she would eventually become Meleny's worst nightmare. Her father had named her and after Jezebel was born Meleny's life became a living hell. The last thing she needed in her life was someone else to degrade and put her down as if her father hadn't already done enough of that. The two of them were constantly at each other's throats.

Christina Kensington and Emery Aldridge had dated while they attended Hogwarts. For awhile she was ignorant about Voldemort's reign until she discovered that her own boyfriend was one. They were briefly engaged before she knew the truth but immediately left him (pregnant with the twins). She felt betrayed and disgusted that he was hiding something so major from her. She didn't want to raise her twins in that way. Christina immediately started auror training so she could protect the people she cares about. Thankfully her daughters were born before she started training so she was glad she she didn't have pregnancy to slow down her training. As soon as she knew he was a death eater she knew marrying him was impossible but she couldn't raise twins on her own on top of auror training. For a few years Meleny remained ignorant of who her father was until Jezebel became curious and asked her mother why she wasn't married. She tried the best she could to explain the situation to her rebellious daughter. Jezebel wanted to know who her father was but Meleny was perfectly content with not knowing so unbeknownst to her mother and Meleny she went searching for him on her own and doing research during her third year of school.

When she was younger, Jezebel just started out as bullying Meleny like the annoying bully in the school yard because she is 10 minutes older than her and wanted to flaunt her seniority. Basically Jezebel has a holier than thou attitude and it got worse when she discovered the Death Eaters when she got older. She came out first and the reason why Meleny is often naive and too trusting of some people is because she was born second. Later on, Jezebel found enjoyment in physically and pyschologically abusing Meleny. Later on, Meleny would also prove herself a blood traitor by choosing the Order over the Death Eaters. Her mother is an auror and Meleny had always planned to follow in her footsteps when shes older by joining the Order as soon as she's old enough and working as either a healer or an auror.

When they began attending Hogwarts her sister was sorted into Slytherin and that only esclated their sibling rivarly to a higher level. They competed against each other during Quidditch matches in their second and third year. She never misses the chance to call Meleny blood traitor or other insulting names because Meleny also has muggle leanings and likes to dress like one. She also defends them if she sees one being verbally tormented.

As Meleny's hogwarts education progressed and Voldemort became more powerful, it came out that Jezebel was searching for their father when they saw him heading towards knockturn alley while they were shopping in diagon alley. The sisters and mother had a huge fight about it and Jezebel stalked off angrily after him to talk. Christina chased after Jezebel and explained that knockturn alley was a dangerous place. Jezebel was so fed up with her family that she announced to her sister and mother that she would rather live with her father than them. She begged her father to let her live with him even though she knew his job had him on the run constantly.

Meleny was happy about being sorted into Gryffindor because she felt like there were more people like her there and for the first time in her life she didn't feel alone. However it really escalated rivalry with her twin since she was in Slytherin. House rivalry had always gotten on Meleny's nerves. She didn't see why everyone just couldn't get along. To her houses and blood lineage didn't matter and she hated that her sister cared a lot about it.

In her third year Meleny was in her second year at Hogwarts playing for the Quidditch team. She had been playing since her second year. Her position was Chaser. Meleny was excited to play for the Quidditch team but was nervous when she found out her twin sister was playing Beater for Slytherin and one of the matches Gryffindor had was against them. Meleny was scared to play against her own sister because her twin tended to be extremely aggressive to get whatever she wanted. Once from the Gryffindor table Meleny could hear Jezebel plotting with other girls from the Slytherin team to create an accident for Meleny to get into so she can't play in the game. They figured that by taking out a player before the game the Gryffindor team would have to forfeit the game if they can't replace Meleny on time. The day before the game Meleny was in another practice with the Gryffindor team and before she left Jezebel whispered in Meleny's ear in the great hall as she passed by the Slytherin table "break a leg...literally." and cackled wildly to herself. Once the practice was over and half the team was already gone Jezebel appeared on the pitch with her own broom and a beater's bat and literally knocked Meleny off her broom with a stray bludger that was floating around as she was dismounting to help put away the supplies. The incident literally did break Meleny's leg and her arm so she was physically unable to play in tomorrow's game and she had to stay in the hospital wing for quite a while. The incident made Meleny consider quitting Quidditch but she couldn't do that to the team. They already suffered her loss for one game and she couldn't do that to them again.

In her fourth year when the triwizard tournament was going on Meleny became extremely nervous when Harry's name came out of the goblet of fire. Meleny is the type of person who cares deeply about her friends and freaks out when any harm comes their way. She still supported him either way and all of the hate from the Slytherins was getting on her last nerve.

Fifth year had to have been the worst for Meleny due to the fact that Umbridge was the defense against the dark arts teacher. The woman gave Meleny the creeps and her high voice got on her nerves. Not to mention that her teaching methods were the worst thing about her. Meleny was very proud of Harry for having the courage to stand up to Umbridge in class and she really wished she had the guts to do that herself. She may not have been called a liar like he was but she was glad he made Voldemort's return known to the world. Meleny did not want to ever face a detention with her so she decided to behave herself in class even though she was doing everyone an injustice by not teaching defensive spells. When she learned that Dumbledore's Army was being created she was extremely happy and looked forward to every meeting. She was extremely fed up with the daily prophet printing lies about Harry and trying to cover up Voldemort's return that she wrote to her mother asking they cancel their subscription. Meleny believed Harry and didn't talk to anyone who believed the lies the paper wrote.

The drama did not stop for Meleny in her sixth year. Over the summer she uncovered the brutal treatment of house elves like Hermione had in their fourth year. Someone at the ministry told her mother that there was a death eater abusing house elves in his home. The person worked for the department that handled such matters but figured it was a good idea to have an auror working on the case too. Her sister was now living with their father and Meleny stayed with her mother. Her sister was begging her father to teach her the dark arts so he helped her practice on disobedient house elves when he wasn't at death eater meetings. They had the family house elf Norman locked in the cellar. Apparently he had been sent there for refusing to do a job. They locked him down there any time he slipped up and said something bad about Emery or Jezebel. Christina and the person from the department of magical creatures went to her father's mansion to check it out. Meleny could not stand the thought of her mother going there. She knew she could protect herself but she was still worried for her safety. She knew her mother was also worried for her safety and she was even more worried for the house elf so she begged her mother to let her come. She only had five years of school under her belt but she hoped all the extra things she learned last year in Dumbledore's Army would be enough to protect them, When she found him he was badly wounded. Her father and sister had nearly killed him. Norman had been tortured with the cruciatus curse and had been physically beaten. He was practically on the brink of death. Christina contacted a healer from st mungos to tend to Norman.

Meleny and Jezebel immediately started having another argument about the trouble she has caused and a Duel ensued between her father, mother, and the ministry worker. Meleny desperately wished she was old enough to do magic outside of school so she can help her mother. Since they couldn't hurt each other with magic the sisters settled for insulting one another. Her father tortured Meleny to make the point that she was weak and helpless because of the underage magic rule. He used a high concentration of the cruciatus curse on her. He also hated Christina but just loved to see his youngest twin daughter suffer. Christina tried to get between her ex and her daughter but her father turned his wand upon her and cast the killing curse just as Meleny yelled at her to get out of the way. Finally he also murdered the other ministry worker because she was trying to interfere and he didn't want him or Jezebel getting caught. He knew his second daughter would make a fine death eater one day and he wanted to be there to see it happen. The healer that was there whisked Meleny and Norman away to st mungos and called in someone to deal with the deaths. However Jezebel and her father escaped before they arrived.

At st mungos the healers did the best they could to help Meleny who had never felt so much pain in all her life. They treated her enough so that she could return to Hogwarts where she would be safe. She went to Madam Pomfrey when she got there just to make sure she was going to be fine.

Meleny was sitting alone in the Gryffindor common room trying in vain to catch up on homework. Meleny just couldn't concentrate because her mind was very full and earlier today she had been out on the grounds where it was a nice day out and she was still rather distracted from that. Anyone who knew Meleny knew that she was always happy and outgoing and always smiles when she talks to people but she was also in a lot of emotional pain. Her mother's death had hit her really hard. Anyone who reads the daily prophet would probably know about it already since her mother had been an auror and an Order Member unless of course her father saw some reason to hush it up and bribed the daily prophet not to print his wife's death in their wizarding obituary section. She was so mad at her father for killing her and all over the safety of the family house elf too. Her mother died because she was trying to protect the house elf her father and sister were torturing and ordering around every minute of the day. Sometimes she couldn't sleep soundly at night and she dreamed about the last day of summer before school and the events that took place before her fifth year at Hogwarts which had ended about a month or two ago. The helpless feeling plagued her at night as well as the fact that her mother was a bit young when she died. In her opinion none of this should've happened.

Meleny felt like she was going rather insane because she hadn't slept. She used to be a bit of a morning person and rather chipper as she went from class to class despite what was going on in her life. Meleny desperately wanted to find someone this year to confide in for a while before she went completely mental. Her aunt was busy at the ministry trying to plan the funeral for when she went home for the holidays. Meleny hated to admit it but she wasn't sure if she would go to the funeral. She knew it would be polite to pay her last respects but then it might make the situation a lot more real and Meleny didn't think she could handle that.

Meleny had been praying that this whole thing was actually a dream she would wake up from, hoping to find a letter from her mother at breakfast and that she would see her again. But Meleny knew better. She saw the green light from her father's wand rush toward her mother. She yelled at her to get out of the way but it was too late. The killing curse hit her mother and her life had been ended in an instant. Despite the reality Meleny was quite content deluding herself to the truth. Meleny stared into the fireplace and felt tears burning her eyes threatening to fall onto the roll of parchment in front of her that was supposed to be used for an essay in Defense Against the Dark Arts. Sitting in that class made her sad now because it was the dark arts that killed her mother and she didn't have time to defend herself. On the parchment she hadn't written anything on it except for her name.
