Slytherin
If you wish to create a Slytherin, your app must include some of the following qualities. Staff must be able to find them on your app or you will be asked to edit so your character will qualify. Not every Slytherin should have every one of these traits. Keep in mind that each trait can be taken in more than one way. Be creative with these traits and people will be more inclined to plot with your character.
The official list of traits for Slytherins is as follows:- Traditionalist
- Resourceful
- Cunning
- Ambitious
- Shrewd
- Leaders
- Self-preservation
- Determined
Ah, Slytherins. The ones who love to hate. The students in this house are known for being bullies, the predators of Hogwarts, if you will. They don't often care to be gentle with the feelings of others, and are willing to manipulate their fellow students to gain an advantage. They want what they want when they want it, and won't let anyone get in the way of it. Some love to party and disregard rules, choosing to do exactly as they please. Others are a bit more willing to conform to rules so long as it gets them where they want to be. Pure blood is often important to them, though some consider it much more important than others. All will do whatever they can to to reach their desired location. Whatever it takes. Ambition and determination could stem from extreme inspiration from someone or something which has since turned into a sort of mania. Not every Slytherin is daddy's little princess or mommy's baby boy; some had to fight their way through childhood and have carried on fighting.
When creating your Slytherin, please think about reasons why they are the way they are. Not every one of them is simply mean. Most have reasons why they are the way they are. For example, some grew up in households in which certain values were instilled in them, while others gained their ambition from a childhood experience. Additionally, not every Slytherin has a Death Eater parent. (If you do consider a Death Eater parent, think about mommy dearest to change things up.) Try to make your Slytherin stand out from the rest by mixing things up and stepping out of the cliches.
