Hufflepuff
If you want your character to be in Hufflepuff, your character must have a few of the below traits. The staff must be able to identify at least a few of these traits on your app or you will be asked to edit so your character will qualify. Not every Hufflepuff should have every one of these traits. While reading, remember that each trait can be taken in more than one way. Be creative with these traits and people will be more inclined to plot with your character.
The official list of traits for Hufflepuffs is as follows:- Loyal
- Dedicated
- Hard working
- Just
- Patient
Hufflepuffs tends to contain the most bubbly and giggly students in the school. They aren't often as competitive as Gryffindors, and, though they are hard working, they aren't known for being as smart as Ravenclaws. Cheerful and friendly, they tend to be accepting of differences and welcoming to everyone. With little rivalry towards the other houses, they don't tend to do very well in the Quidditch tournaments or the competition for the House Cup. They strongly believe that it isn't important whether you win or lose, but how you play the game. This house accepts those who do not fit in with the descriptions of the other houses. Loyal and true, Hufflepuffs value friendship very much, and tend to be found with large groups of friends. Often more emotional than those of other houses, they tend to fall prey to the cruelty of bullies. They are honest, and they want things to be alright in the wizarding world.
Please note that Hufflepuff has produced the fewest dark wizards of any house. Characters placed in Hufflepuff should not be dabbling in dark magic, dealing death, and shaking hands with the devil or Dark Lord. This does not mean your Hufflepuff cannot have a dark past, it merely means they should have morals that prevent them from doing these things. Hufflepuffs love morals!
