Best Memory: Justin's best memory is of the day he received his Hogwarts letter. He had accepted that he would be living an ordinary, if pleasant, life and was delighted to discover that he was more than what he seemed.
Mirror of Erised: Justin's greatest desire is to help defeat Voldemort once and for all. He is terrified of the threat that Voldemort poses to all that he loves and would love to destroy it.
Patronus: A hawk; Produced with either the memory of discovering that he was a wizard or with various thoughts of his friends.
Boggart: Justin's boggart has changed shape many times since he joined Hogwarts, from a snake to a dragon until finally turning into Lord Voldemort himself. Voldemort has become a symbol of both death and injustice, the two things that Justin hates and fears the most. His other fear is being completely alone, which is a companion of death in his mind and is also encompassed by the image of Lord Voldemort.
Dementor: Justin's worst memory is the slow death of his father, who was diagnosed with cancer when he was seven.
Veritaserum: Justin constantly has nightmares surrounding the death of his father and his various other fears.
Personality: Justin Finch-Fletchley is very gullible. In his second year, he was one of the first to believe the rumors that Harry was the heir of Slytherin, he was a huge fan of Glideroy Lockhart, and he was one of the most passionate supporters of Cedric Diggory and believed that Harry had submitted his name into the Goblet to try and steal his glory. His gullibility has also led to an interest in Divination. This trait sometimes gets him into trouble with those who he is not very close to, like Harry, because he will believe nearly anything that is told to him without thinking about it. His gullibility has waned with age, but he is still prone to believe rumors and be influenced by others.
Justin Finch-Fletchley, like the stereotype of his house that he hates so much, is something of a coward. There are times when he is extremely strong and dependable, mainly to those he is loyal to, but unless there is something personal on the line, Justin will generally run away from a confrontation. Now, as he grew older this changed a bit. The DA, for example, made him a much stronger wizard and showed his determination to overcoming his cowardice. However, Justin still lets his basic fears control him, and cannot completely overcome them except in the most dire of circumstances. He can, and has, managed to accept them and deal with them when necessary though.
Justin is also known for being loyal to his friends and school to the point of fanaticism, much like most Hufflepuffs. If his house, friends, or family are insulted or threatened in the slightest way, Justin will throw off his cowardice and attack, either physically or verbally. One noted example of this is when he, along with other DA members, attacked Draco Malfoy and his friends when they threatened Harry Potter in his fifth year. This loyalty has made him one of the more popular Hufflepuffs in his year, and a great friend to those who get to know him.

Father: Peter Finch, Former investment banker, muggle, deceased
Mother: Alicia Fletchley, 41, Manager of a local market, muggle
Siblings: n/a
Others: n/a
Hometown: London, England
Current Residence: London, England
History: Justin Finch-Fletchley was born on July 2nd in London, England to Peter Finch and Alicia Fletchley. His last name was originally Finch, like his father. Justin was born into a relatively rich family, due to his father being an investment banker with a large inheritance and his mother running a large market in outer London. They lived in a large townhouse near the market where his mother, Alicia, worked. Nothing interesting happened to Justin until he reached the age of five years old, when he inexplicably made a dog that barked at him fly into a neighbor's yard. As Justin grew older, small incidents like this occurred with greater frequency and intensity.
When Justin turned seven, his father was diagnosed with lung cancer. Although Justin did not fully comprehend the significance of this at the time, he did know what death was and became frightened, angry, and sad for his father. These emotions all caused magical outbursts to occur at random and with great strength nearly every day. Before he died, Peter told Justin to remember to control himself and make sure he had as many friends as he could get, mainly because Peter had nobody outside of his family to mourn him. Justin took these words to heart, and learned to control his emotions. This also molded him into the outgoing, generally nice person he would become. After his father's death, Justin's mother changed her name to Alicia Finch-Fletchley. Justin adopted this name as well. His father's illness and death would weigh on Justin for the rest of his life, and create his fears of both illness and death. He would attempt to cope by distracting himself with sports, something his father had loved.
When he turned eleven, Justin was scheduled to be sent to Eton. He received his Hogwarts letter on July 3rd, the day after his birthday, and after much begging he convinced his mother to allow him to go to Hogwarts. This was the brightest moment in his life, and the moment that would let him escape the sadness that hounded him following his father's death.
In his first year at Hogwarts, Justin Finch-Fletchley was sorted into Hufflepuff and became best friends with Hannah Abbott and Ernie Macmillan. That summer, he convinced his mother that having a wizard in the family would be a good thing based on the stories of Gilderoy Lockhart, which he both believed and loved.
In his second year, Justin initially became friends with Harry Potter. Once rumors of the heir of Slytherin came about, however, Justin became terrified of Harry and began to gossip about him with his friends, who became just as frightened as he was. Following Gilderoy Lockhart's dueling club, when he thought that Harry had sent a snake after him, Justin became afraid for his life. He was paralyzed by the Basilisk whilst talking to Nearly Headless Nick, who was friendly enough, despite Justin's complete mistrust of Harry. When he was healed, Justin became interested in herbology because it saved him and became afraid of snakes. He apologized to Harry and they became friendly once more.
Justin's third year was fairly uneventful. Impressed by Trelawney's "predictions", Justin became a huge fan of divination classes. His friendships with Ernie and Hannah grew stronger during this time as well. In his fourth year, Justin's house pride increased with Cedric Diggory's rise through the Triwizard Tournament. He became angry with Harry due to his belief in the rumors that Harry put his name in the goblet, and failed to ask anybody to the Yule Ball, much to his disappointment. After Cedric's death, Justin steeled himself and vowed to protect his friends and house at any cost.
In his fifth year, Justin joined the DA and made many friendships with people around the school. He also became a stronger wizard, and began to discover his true strengths. During this time, he began to get over some of his fears, although he could never quite shake them due to a series of nightmares that haunted him at night.
Now, in his sixth year, Justin has become more dedicated to becoming a stronger wizard to help defeat Voldemort. He is also trying to help his friend Hannah Abbott through the death of her mother with weekly correspondence, although he never gets a reply back. The threat of Voldemort has terrified Justin, and a series of nightmares have been haunting him since his return to Hogwarts. Together, these fears are changing Justin, although he does not know how. He is making sure to stay closer to his allies than ever, because he never knows when something will threaten to tear them apart.

Role Play Sample:
Justin Finch-Fletchley woke up in the Hufflepuff dormitory, shaking and horrified by the nightmare he had just experienced. It had been the third time that he had come face to face with Voldemort in the last week and he considered himself lucky that he hadn't been screaming once again. Justin turned and looked at the window. The sun was beginning to peek over the horizon. There was no point in trying to sleep anymore.
Justin got up and threw on a sweater that had been lying next to his bed, along with some jeans. He rummaged through his trunk and pulled out a piece of parchment and a quill. He walked through the silent school, only stopping to wave at a couple of portraits who had woken up early. Justin eventually arrived at the owlery, where he called for his owl, Alexander.
Alexander refused to fly down for the time being, so Justin set to work on writing a brief letter. He had decided to send a note to Hannah Abbott and see how she was doing, mainly because it calmed him after his nightmares, but also because he hadn't sent her one in two weeks. He would make sure to leave out the nightmares. He didn't want to risk worrying her. After his hand stopped shaking in the cold morning air, Justin managed to scrawl a short message asking Hannah how she had been doing at home. Justin knew he probably wouldn't get a reply. He never did. He called Alexander once again, and this time he flew down with a quiet, sleepy hoot.
Justin set about tying the letter to Alexander's leg, reliving the dream as he did. He had seen his father again, experienced his death, and watched as he morphed into Lord Voldemort. And then he woke up. Justin contemplated whether or not other students had dreams like this as he walked Alexander to the window. As he watched Alexander fly off over the forbidden forest, he decided that he didn't care. The dreams were happening, and they would not stop just because others didn't have them. This was the one time his friends couldn't help him. He would have to go through this alone, and this frightened him more than the nightmares ever could.
Justin walked over to the window that Alexander had flown out of. He slowly looked over the edge, ignoring his better judgement. He closed his eyes. It would be so easy to just let himself to go. To fall and end the nightmares, the anger, the memories. To just lean forward and...
He jerked backwards. No. There were people who needed him. Ernie, Hannah, the DA, Hufflepuff, everyone he cared about. His mother would be alone without him. He couldn't let himself fall like this. He had to survive for them.
Justin walked away from the window, vowing to become stronger, just like his father would have wanted. Just like he would need to be in order to survive this year.
