The Hospital Wing occupies a good portion of this floor along with the classrooms where History of Magic and Muggle Studies are taught. Tapestries cover the walls of the main corridor on this floor, on which can be found the Storeroom - although it would be better not to access it, unless you wish to provoke Professor Snape's wrath.

This floor is best known for containing an out of order lavatory, which houses Moaning Myrtle's rather obnoxious ghost.

The Forbidden Forest is, as the name suggests, strictly off-limits to students except in the case of detention and of Care Of Magical Creatures lessons that occasionally take place there. It borders the edges of the school grounds and contains all sorts of dangerous creatures, from centaurs to acromantulas. Venture inside at your own risk.

The Owlery is a circular stone building, rather cold and drafty because none of the windows had glass in them. It is where the school owls and the owls belonging to students live during the year. The floor is entirely covered in straw, owl droppings and regurgitated skeletons of mice.

Planted in 1971, the Whomping Willow disguises the opening of a secret passage leading from the Hogwarts grounds to the Shrieking Shack. A very violent plant, it has been known to attack anyone who disturbs its branches.

The Ministry of Magic is located in Whitewall, in the center of London, and it is deep underground. One can enter the structure either by using the Floo Network or by using the visitor's entrance, which is disguised as a payphone. Press the correct keys and the telephone box will descend through the ground into the Atrium.

Concealed behind the apparearance of a red-bricked, abandoned store named Purge and Dowse, St. Mungo's can be accessed by walking through the main window. Healers run up and down the aisles of the five floors to treat the unfortunate patients.
